Reiki (ray key) is an energy healing technique used to help support the body's natural ability to heal itself.
The word Reiki is Japanese, and is made up of two terms, Rei and Ki: Rei, meaning universal life force, and Ki, meaning energy.

Using specific hand positions either on or over the body, Reiki energy is channeled through the Reiki Practitioner and into the recipient.

Joy Carbino is a certified Reiki Master/Teacher, Holistic Health Counselor, and Nikken Wellness Home Consultant serving the communities of Black Rock, Stamford, and their surrounding areas. In her practice, she combines an innate sense of intuition with the guided energy of Reiki in order to enhance the body’s natural ability to heal itself. She is also a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals, the Connecticut Holistic Health Association, and a certified Professional Rescuer with the American Red Cross.
